Cayman Family Values

Hanging in midair as you leap from the back of the boat, your mind races with the anticipation of discovery. Beneath the surface, the fish, the creatures, the reef, or the wreck await you. You are one of only a few adventurers granted access to these treasures.

Renowned underwater photographer, Stephen Frink, is an epic underwater adventurer. He’s traveled the world, logged thousands of dives, and when asked where he hasn’t been before, he has to think far too long before answering. As we enjoy the boat ride out to the dive site with Frink, his wife Barbara, and his daughter Alexa, we can’t help but wonder exactly why he’d selected the Cayman Islands for his family vacation; not because we could find fault with the cloudless blue sky, the crystal clear azure water, or the slight breeze, but because Stephen Frink is a man who literally has the world at his fingertips.

“My wife and I have traveled all over the world together in search of the best diving,” Frink says, “but Lexy was just recently certified and I think Cayman is the perfect place for us to all dive together.” Frink points out he believes the Cayman Islands are ideal for families. “There are plenty of reefs, wrecks, and even walls in relatively shallow water, and the Islands’ advanced infrastructure offers a premier safety factor that other destinations cannot offer.” Now, don’t jump to the conclusion that shallow diving and safety facilities translate into less adventure and less fun. The Cayman Islands are often heralded as the world’s best diving.
